We come from scattered lives to meet with God.
Let us recognize his presence with us.
As God’s people we have gathered: let us worship him together.
Confession
O God you have searched us out and known us, and all that we are is open to you. We confess that we have sinned: We have used our power to dominate and our weakness to manipulate: we have evaded responsibility and failed to confront evil; we have denied dignity to ourselves and each other and fallen into despair. We turn to you O God; we renounce evil. We repent of our sin. We claim Your love and we choose to be made whole.
God forgives you, forgive others, forgive yourself. Be at peace. Amen. From the St Hilda Community.
The Collect
Almighty God, to whose glory we celebrate the dedication of this house of prayer: we praise you for the many blessings you have given to those who worship you here and for our patron saint Buriana: and we pray that all who seek you in this place may find you, and, being filled with the Holy Spirit, may become a living temple acceptable to you; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, Amen.

Preparation of the Table and Taking of the Bread and Wine
The work of human hands is respected by God: the bread risen in the warmth, the wine, crushed in bitter sweetness. All that we offer is received and transformed into new possibilities.
The Eucharistic Prayer One
The Lord is here His Spirit is with us.
Lift up your hearts. We lift them to the Lord.
Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
It is right to give thanks and praise.
It is always right to give you thanks, God our Creator, loving and faithful, holy and strong. You made us and the whole universe,
and filled your world with life. You sent your Son to live among us, Jesus our Saviour, Mary’s child. He suffered on the cross; he died to save us from our sins; he rose in glory from the dead.
You send your Spirit to bring new life to the world, and clothe us with power from on high. We join Saint Buriana and the angels to say:
Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might,
heaven and earth are full of your glory. Hosanna in the highest.
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
Hosanna in the highest.
Father, on the night before he died, Jesus shared a meal with his friends. He took the bread and thanked you. He broke it, and gave it to them, saying: Take and eat; this is my body, given for you.
Do this to remember me.
After the meal, Jesus took the cup of wine. He thanked you, and gave it to them, saying: Drink this, all of you. This is my blood, the new promise of God’s unfailing love. Do this to remember me.
Jesus Christ has died. Jesus Christ is risen.
Jesus Christ will come again.
Father, as we bring this bread and wine, and remember his death and resurrection, send your Holy Spirit, that we who share these gifts may be fed by Christ’s body and his blood. Pour your Spirit on us that we may love one another, work for the healing of the earth, and share the good news of Jesus, as we wait for his coming in glory.
For honour and praise belong to you, Father, with Jesus your Son, and the Holy Spirit: one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come; thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.
The Breaking of the Bread
Every time we eat this bread and drink this cup,
we proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.
Giving of Communion
Alleluia. Christ our passover is sacrificed for us.
Therefore let us keep the feast. Alleluia.

My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most Blessed Sacrament. I love You above all things and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot now receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.

God of our pilgrimage, refresh and sustain us as we go forward on our journey, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Those who work for change suffer resistance.
So make us strong.
Those who do new things sometimes feel afraid.
So make us brave
Those who challenge the world as it is arouse anger.
So grant us inner peace.
Those who live joyfully are envied.
So make us generous.
Those who try to love encounter hate.
So make us steadfast in you.
Blessing
May the power of God this day enable us, the nakedness of God disarm us, The beauty of God silence us, the justice of God give us voice, The integrity of God hold us, the desire of God move us, the fear of God expose us to the truth, the breath of God give us abundant life, and the blessing of God almighty, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, be among us and remain with us always. Amen.
