For many generations St Buryan Church has been at the centre of our community serving the needs of the whole parish. It provides a place of worship every Sunday as well as being there for those important points in our lives and the lives of those we cherish.
Much in society has changed in the last few hundred years, but the Church has remained a central point in our community and we hope it will continue to do so for many more years to come.

continue to support the whole community.

increase our work with children and young people, those who are retired and to stimulate growth in our musical tradition.

maintain and repair the Grade One listed church building and Christian Ministry within this community.

build on our work with young people in the newly established Messy Church and Youth Group.
St Buryan is a church for everyone. Any parishioner whether a regular participant in church services or not has the right to be baptised, married or have a funeral service in this church. It is everyone’s church.
There are many people in the parish of St Buryan who freely give their time, skills and energy to help others discover God's Kingdom and in doing so help to grow our church.
We especially need help in these areas:
Churchyard grass cutters, bell ringers, choir members, people to read the Bible and lead prayers in church during services, church cleaners, flower arrangers, people to support work on the fabric of church and its surroundings, helpers with printing and someone to create a team to run a magazine.
